i have an iphone 2g. i had gotten it unlock by a friend because i have t-mobile.
i recently updated it to the 3.0 software. and now it is locked again.
did i just mess up everything?
can it be downgrated to how it was before?
or can it be unlocked the same way?

Yep ya messed it up.. you will need to have your friend help you try to unlock it again. Whenever you update it locks the phone to the ATT network

Nope.

usually the program that unlock the iPhone already comes with jailbreak. For the current jailbreak, jailbreakme.com, you need to have cydia to be able to install ultrasn0w to unlock the phone and the only way you can get cydia is doing the jailbreak.

My iphone 2g was unlocked in a shop and then i upgraded the software on itunes to 3.1.2. I then tried to jailbreak my phone by using blackra1n and unlock it with another application beginig with C and another “boot” something… but once it had been completed it still didnt allow me to change the sim card and asked me to connect it to itunes.

Can someone who is a geek pro at this please help me out?

Jailbreak the iPhone again, be sure the new modified firmware is used for the restoration process.
In Cydia, activate Redsn0w to unlock it
The new SIM card should work
