You will still have an unlimited plan, but your data will not work correctly. The phones are provisioned differently. Also, you will not have voice mail as the iphone uses visual voice mail and removes the standard basic voice mail.

I have a 3g ipod touch. The audio doesn’t want to work, i plug in headphones and i can’t hear anything. Do i give them the warranty would they give me a new one for no charge? Also can i upgrade to 4g? I need help open to all answers.

p.s i wish my parents got my ipod at bestbuy not stupid target.

not right away, they will do everything they can to try and fix the problem there so they wont have to replace it and if they cant find the problem you will have to go through a bunch of stuff to get a new one, to upgrade to 4g you would have to buy it, you cant give them a 3g plus money for a 4g

Answernode has a list of benefits in their unlocking guide; but I know that no, you wont pay roaming, just change your sim to a local one.

I currently have 2 phones on my plan one iphone and one razr2. I pay 69.99 for 450 rollover minutes, 30 for unlimited data and 20 for unlimited text. after taxes and everything per month I pay 130 for the family plan. When I goto preorder the iphone 4 frome apple site the only plan available is 99.99 a month voice plan for unlimited but I don’t want unlimited voice just my current 450. Is there a problem with apples site or did att change the voice plans? the new monthly plan would be 149.99 per month according to apple/att

How much will the cost of the phone, termination fee and activation fee cost?

$ 199/$ 299 – iPhone 4 (not iPhone 4G) (16GB/32GB)
$ 36 – Activation Fee
$ 54.99 – Voice & Data Plans
$ 325 – Early Termination Fee (you’ll have to wait 30 days to cancel the contract, because they will take the phone back beforehand)

There is a no contract option
$ 599/$ 699 – iPhone 4 (16GB/32GB)
$ 36 – Activation Fee
$ 54.99 – Voice & Data Plans

If you’re planning on putting it on another network make note that cancelling the contract doesn’t unlock it. You will still have to do that on your own.

Right now i have a Samsung Rouge. I want to get an Iphone 4. I plan on buying an Iphone 4 off of ebay. I know that the phone plans are not the same so I want to know the difference per month. If i buy one off of ebay do i have have to redo my contract with verizon or can i just up my plan without redoing my contract?

(AP) Verizon Wireless is revealing details of how much it will charge iPhone users for voice, text and data service.

The company, which will begin taking preorders for Apple Inc.’s smart phone on Thursday, says a basic voice plan including 450 minutes per month will cost $ 40.

A voice and text plan including unlimited text messages will start at $ 60 per month. And a separate data plan for getting e-mail and the Web will cost $ 30 per month.

Verizon says customers will also be able to use the iPhone as a Wi-Fi hotspot for an extra $ 20 per month.

The company is setting aside a limited number of iPhones for those who already subscribe to Verizon. It will begin taking preorders from existing customers at 3 a.m. on Thursday.

your texting will work, although your internet will NOT… Why dont you just call apple and activate the data plan since you’re already spending the money for a plan any way…..

I am currently using a family plan. My phone is not eligible for an iphone upgrade, but one of the other lines is. Do iphone’s work like regular phones where I can “upgrade” another line and then just transfer my sim card to it and it works for my line? Is there anyway to not upgrade my particular line, but keep the iphone attached to my number?

Yeah what you want is an Alternate upgrade , you can use the other phone’s upgrade to upgrade your phone.

If you just put your sim into the phone make sure to call at&t and tell them you’ve switch to the new phone so they can make sure your account has the needed data plan, otherwise you could get overage fees for using the phone.
