While I was helping my friend jailbreak iOS4 on iPhone 3G and unlocking it so he can use it on T-Mobile, I documented the process. Now his T-Mobile voice works flawlessly, and data working fine on “Edge”, there’s current no way that I know you can run 3G though off T-Mobile.

I plan on upgrading my iPhone 4 to the latest software. Right now, I’m using cydia as my jailbreak. Once I upgrade my iPhone to the latest version, what will happen to cydia? Will the apps I got from it become deleted? Also, what’s the best jailbreak for the latest iPhone 4 version?

The same as if you patch (update) any “cracked” software – it gets overridden. Check if jailbraking is possible for the version you are updating to (I don’t own an iPhone).
