I have the 3g iphone and updated to the new 4ios software avaialble from itunes. Should I be able to change the background of my homescreen or is that a feature of just the iphone 4?

It’s only a feature on iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS.
Trust me I had a 3G and couldn’t change the background.

use a paper clip and open the top of the phone by putting the clip in the little hole. if you already have a sim card, see if it fits. sometimes the sim card you already have can work.

Question by chuck and blair forever: what is the cost to upgrade my iphone with rogers?
as you probably know apple presented its new iphone 4 today it is to be released in Canada in July and the USA on june 24 for some reason france the uk and japan get the phone on June 24th also leaving us Canadians to wait a month. So anyway does anyone know how much I am going to have to pay if I want to upgrade my iphone 3g to an iphone 4 with rogers and if I will have to extend my contract or anything.

I was wondering the same thing actually!
So I did some re-search and appearently if your plan is at its 2 year mark, your are eligable to upgrade your iphone 3g to iphone 4 for the contract price which is $ 199 for 16gb and $ 299gb? but you have to sign a contract with rogers again for another 2 years. And if you have not reached your 2 year mark, you have to pay the price of the phone?
I’m not 100% sure if this is correct, but I’m going to ask rogers about this this weekend and I suggest you should too!

In August 2009 I purchased a brand new Apple iPhone 3GS in white the 16GB size. In June 2010 it broke and since it was under the one year warranty they replaced it with the same white 16GB iPhone 3GS. But now the ringer has stopped working and the vibrate wont turn on. Since im using more than 8GB they cant give me a new black iphone 3GS because it only comes in 8GB. and they dont have a white 16GB iPhone 3GS anymore so are they gonna give me a discount on a iPhone 4 or a free one?
