Question by : How can I still get edge or 3g Internet access while talking on the phone?
Most of the time when I’m talking on my iPhone I don’t have Internet access and I can see that I don’t because I use my earphones when talking and can still use my screen. I just want to know how to still get edge or 3g while I’m talking on the phone.

The iPhone, like all EDGE-capable devices that I’m aware of, does not support simultaneous voice & data while you are accessing the EDGE network. It’s a limitation of the technology used… and there’s no way around it.

On the flip side, the iPhone DOES support simultaneous voice & data if you are connected via WiFi or 3G Data (UMTS/HSDPA). One of the key advantages to AT&Ts 3G network over the EDGE network, is that the 3G network allows voice&data at the same time, whereas the EDGE network does not. When you’re connect via WiFi or 3G, you should be able to use data while on a call automatically… there isn’t anything special you should have to do to configure it.

So the short answer:
If you’re on EDGE, there’s no way to do voice/data at the same time.
If you’re on WiFi or 3G, it should work automatically.

ive been told that when i restore my iphone the sim card data is intact and i was wondering how do i access it? i took it and put it back in and it didnt work

connect to a wi-fi connection on safari on your iphone go to google type in apn should be the first link follow the instruction and it should download an app on your iphone that allows you to use it with your data plan

I mean log on without changing my current iPhone plan to a media works bundle or something like that
Will it stop working after a while if I where to keep it in there for about one week?

Well, on the count of the iPhone sim card is the same as every other AT&T SIM card, it should work. There isn’t any special iPhone sim card so you shouldn’t have your problem.

I am in the UK and have a 3G phone on T-Mobile which I use for checking email. I will be in France for two weeks and the roaming charges are about £1.50 per MB (which is crazy). What would be the cheapest way for me to get 3G in France – is it easy to get another sim?

well unfortunitly in france u can’t have a sim card like in england.u need to pay before 20 pounds just to have the sim card.after it s the same thing in englang,u need to credit your card. i think it s best cheapest way. france suck about mobile phone.it’s really expansive here, more than england

Yes, it’s possible to use a jailbroken iPhone and VNSea (VNC client) to access gay.com chat from your iPhone. This is a demo, not a how-to. You’d need to jailbreak your iPhone and install VNSea on it. Then you’d need to install a VNC server on your computer and set up your router (or cable/DSL modem, or firewall software) to allow incoming VNC connections. What can I say, I just gotta have my gay.com chat.
