   got a question…if i wanna update my 8g 3.1.2 jailbroken ipod touch to 4.0 do i have to restore it or can i just update it…i dont care if i lose my jailbroken apps/settings and themes?

    I jailbroke my iPhone 3G using RedSn0w v0.9.5. First, I enabled only homescreen wallpaper and installed Cydia. That worked fine. Then, I tried out multitasking and disabled wallpaper. That worked okay until I started running 9 or 10 different apps in the background. It really started to slow down my iPhone. Pretty soon, I couldn’t even open my mail app. I would go to it, but then it would just crash and I had to disable it and I only left Cydia installed.

    Yeah it works fine but if you run anymore than the basic apps it runs horribly!! I defend apples claim that the 3G isn’t powerful enough! 128 mb ram cmon people! Get an iPhone 4!

    yes i fugired out that me iPhone was jailbroken because i bought it from pakistan and that place does not support apple so in order to keep it running with a sim they had to jailbreak it. FOR FREE

    @freaktube4 It is the removal of Apples restrictions placed on your iPhone allowing 3rd party applications to be used and giving you the freedom to do pretty much anything with your device. The way it should’ve been. But Apple are control freaks.

    @danyalbutt There are a lot of great tutorials on YouTube. Just make sure you know what your doing but it’s very simple. Go to “Dinozambas” channel. That’s the one I used.

    People need to understand, When you unlock any phone to work with another carrier it only works with the technology in the phone. For instance, when you unlock your phone it works with any SIM based network, or GSM, so you can use t-mobile. Verizon and sprint is off limits since they’re CDMA.
