Question by mr. man: What’s the big deal about the new 4.0 iphone update?
I have practically all of the big updates already, they have been available for years. Seems apple is the one copying someone this time. I have a jailbreak, and my ipod works completely fine, i can play games while surfing the web and that sort of thing. I can change my background and icons and music player and status bar etc. And now they are even ousting the 3rd party game servers like openfeint and others that connect players, again with the apple only mindset they have.

They must be doing something right judging by the number of people who have them and the number of people who want them. And of course they have Apple in mind, they’re Apple. You don’t see Sony updating the eReader to be compatible with the Kindle file format, or vice versa. Last I checked, this was America, corporate America to be more precise. Any company has that company alone in mind when making decisions that affect the bottom line. If you want to take the risks involved in jailbreaking an expensive device becayse you’re too cheap to buy content and apps for it, you go right ahead. We’ll see you back here when you have a virus or have been bricked.
